Get in Touch With Your Natural Side When Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest Launches This Month

It seems we’ll finally get our hands on the first Werewolf: The Apocalypse game soon. Today it was announced that Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest will be launching on October 13th, perfect for the spooky season.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest puts you in the role of Maia, a woman who arrives in Poland to try and trace her family roots. Along the way she comes across a rather important discovery that she probably wishes she knew beforehand: turns out she’s a werewolf. Now Maia finds herself tangled in a conspiracy involving her missing family, a living forest, and a company looking to tear it down. You’ll have to make choices along the way that determines what kind of werewolf you are and how you can proceed through the game.

This would mark the first time that Werewolf: The Apocalypse is getting successfully adapted to video game form. There have been a couple of attempts in the past, with Capcom announcing and later canceling a Werewolf: The Apocalypse game, and DreamForge Intertainment having to cancel Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of Gaia when they went bankrupt in 2001. There’s also the upcoming Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, a third-person RPG set to release on February 4th, 2021.
