Ultra-Indie Daily Dose: Huldufolk Is The Hills Have Little Guys

Welcome back for your Daily Dose! Our indie horror today is by developer RBD Interactive. Huldufolk is a game created for the Folk-Horror Game Jam. It’s a shortform horror experience that takes place in (I think) Iceland. It’s extremely charming and well built, with a great atmosphere and even voice actors.

In Huldufolk you play as some kind of archaeologist. Sent to survey a construction site for artifacts, the game begins with your arrival at a nearby bed and breakfast. The owner is nice, as is the bed and the breakfast, but he gives you a dire warning of creatures known as the huldufolk. But surely this is merely folklore…
