Welcome back for another Daily Dose! This indie horror game comes from developer CASE. Picking up their third spot on the Ultra-Indie series, previously featured for Bloody Service and 19 Line, this is just the demo for their upcoming title, The Parrot That Summons Demons. Like the previous two, TPTSD is an FMV interactive story. This one is looking to be their most complex and advanced work yet.
The Parrot That Summons Demons follows the story of the McCauley family. You play as the teenage daughter Samantha in the demo, but if the full game you may choose any of the four family members. Things seem a bit tense in the house. Mom is sick and bedridden, the son is not in his room, and the dad brought home a talking parrot that refuses to talk. Though once the talking starts…
Much like Bloody Service, The Parrot That Summons Demons is a comedy horror FMV. Unlike Bloody Service, this demo shows that TPTSD is leaning much more towards horror than comedy. Paired with significantly more advanced FPS sequences and dynamic environments, the demo shows this game is looking to be a truly terrifying experience.
You can download The Parrot That Summons Demons from their Steam page here.
