It’s far too much awesomeness for me to summarize so read the press release for all the details!

From the Press Release
In continuation of the Varèse Sarabande 35th Anniversary celebration, the iconic film music label will host a special Halloween Concert Gala on Saturday October 19, 2013, at the Warner Grand Theatre located at 478 W. 6th Street in San Pedro, CA. Conducted by Steven Allen Fox and performed by the Golden State Pops Orchestra, the Halloween concert will showcase some of Varèse Sarabande’s most terrifying and classic film music releases including Psycho, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Omen. The concert will include performances by Emmy and Academy Award winners and nominees, including Marco Beltrami, John Debney, Christopher Young, Brian Tyler, and Nathan Barr, with introductions from several surprise guests.

During intermission, a Halloween Costume Competition will be held where select audience members will be brought up on stage and given prizes for Best in Show, Most Horrifying, Funniest Costume, Most Creative, and more. The Deco Art Deco Building gallery will be showcasing hundreds of Jack O’Lanterns from composer Christopher Young’s personal collection, whose film scores include Drag Me To Hell, Spider-Man 3, and The Grudge Film Series. Located at 741 S. Pacific Avenue in San Pedro, CA, the Jack O’Lantern collection will be on display for one week with free admission for the general public from 3:30 to 7:30 the day of the Halloween concert gala.

The Halloween Gala is part of a global series of Varèse Sarabande events that have taken place throughout the year in honor of the label’s 35th Anniversary. Founded in 1978, Varèse Sarabande is the first music label dedicated solely to film music, releasing film scores from current box office hits to classics from Hollywood’s Golden Age, curating an illustrious catalogue that includes composers and films in all genres. Varèse Sarabande is the most prolific film music label in the world, boasting more than 1,500 soundtrack albums with 60 to 70 titles added each year. Varèse Sarabande producer Robert Townson is hosting and producing the worldwide performances celebrating the label’s 35th anniversary.

Ket tells Kim about the highly requested and truly terrifying Smile 2. This left Ketryn truly shooketh and gave The Substance a run for its money in grotesque-ness. It was simply a smorgasbord of gore and the first time in podcast history that Ket is the one who can’t quite say a word.
