Pumpkin Jack Coming to New-Gen Consoles
3D Platformer Pumpkin Jack New-Gen Edition will be hitting PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S markets on October 27, just in time for Halloween.
Upgrades in the Pumpkin Jack rerelease will include buttery-smooth 60 fps gameplay and a little bit of ray-tracing. You’ll also get access to the previous generation thanks to cross buy. If you already own the original on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll receive a PlayStation 5 or X|S edition as appropriate for free. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions include a Performance Mode, targeting 4K resolutions with 60 fps. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X also include a Quality Mode, which boasts a 4K resolution, 30 fps, and high-quality effects and shadows thanks to ray-tracing.
Pumpkin Jack will take players through various eerie settings as they build an arsenal of weaponry and skills to conquer their enemies and have evil triumph over good. Don’t forget to check out the trailer, which shows off some of the new visual effects.
“Pumpkin Jack may be a retro throwback to the golden age of 3D platformers, but it elevates it with contemporary graphics that have never looked better, thanks to the new gen’s ray-tracing enhancements,”
