Hellpoint: Blue Sun DLC Brings New Terrors
Wake up babe, new cosmic nightmares just dropped. Hellpoint: Blue Sun is the latest DLC for the Soulslike Hellpoint. It’s available now on all platforms where you can currently find Hellpoint, with the Xbox Series X|S versions launching on July 26. Part of the DLC launch includes a PlayStation 5 version, out now.
The Blue Sun DLC expands the base game with new locations to explore, bosses to fight, and occult and scientific mysteries to solve. While previously available via backwards compatibility, this is a leap forward into the current gen. These enhanced editions feature even better visuals, native SSD support, and support for 4k resolution at 60 fps. You can check out Ted’s impressions from PAX South way back in 2020, too.
Set in a universe where the line between science and magic is essentially nonexistent, humanity and aliens are learning about the power within their souls. They engage in unholy and dangerous experiments to attempt to steal the power of ancient gods of the cosmos. In the Blue Sun DLC, you’ll deal with Asmodeus and travel to the Blue Sun. This parallel dimension hides the darkest secrets of the city, potentially including the truth behind the disastrous Merge. Three new zones, new two-handed weapons, new bosses, and various respects and improvements round out all the content, allowing you to become the most powerful Spawn.
