This David Fincher Film Is Now the #1 Charting Thriller On HBO Max: “A must-see if you somehow missed it”

The winter months seem like they were made for dark thrillers and cozy evenings indoors. This might explain why many fans are revisiting this classic David Fincher title this week. Seven  (often stylized as Se7en) is the number 1 movie on Max (formerly HBO Max). Please allow us to help you remember “What’s in the box?” with the synopsis and trailer below. 

In the film,

“When retiring police Detective William Somerset tackles a final case with the aid of newly transferred David Mills, they discover a number of elaborate and grisly murders. They soon realize they are dealing with a serial killer who is targeting people he thinks represent one of the seven deadly sins. Somerset also befriends Mills’ wife, Tracy, who is pregnant and afraid to raise her child in the crime-riddled city.”

Seven was directed by David Fincher. It was written by Andrew Kevin Walker. The movie stars Brad PittMorgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, John C. McGinley, Kevin Spacey, and R. Lee Ermey.

It is finding a younger audience while it is streaming on the app. Whether you are new to the title or have been haunted by it these previous three decades, it is hard to deny its place among the greatest chilling endings in cinema.
