EvilVEvil Release Window Announced With a Closed Beta Coming Soon.

Today, Toadman Interactive, known for Killing Floor Calamity, Immortal: Unchained, and Bloodsports TV, as well as assisting games like Dead Island 2 and Vermintide, announced its vampire-based first-person cooperative shooter EvilVEvil Release Date.

EvilVEvil sees players take on roles of members of The Order of the Dragon. An ancient order of vampires tasked with taking down Zagreus, an all-powerful being bent on world domination. The players must give in to their thirst, cause mayhem, and become evil themselves.

Rewarding players with more gruesome kills allows them to unlock artifacts and weapon mods to power themselves up. It seems players will have to really get wild with their playstyle to cause as much destruction as possible in order to take on Zagreus. Players will also be competing against each other for the most gruesome kills, with rewards being given to the player who manages to indulge themselves the most.

EvilVEvil is set as a three-person cooperative experience with three distinct characters. Mashaka surprises his enemies with a teleport ability. Then, he scorches them with his fire magic; Leon, the juggernaut, chains enemies, pulling them towards a devastating fate. Finally, Victoria, the leader of the team. She can send out copies of herself to hunt down enemies and then slice them apart with her deadly katana.

EvilVEvil is the ultimate power fantasy, a game which dramatically shifts expectations within this genre and allows players to become the hunter instead of the hunted,” said Ola Nilsson, CEO at Toadman Interactive. “We can’t wait for players to join us on this bloody journey.”

During the trailer, we get a good glimpse at the vibe and blood that EvilVEvil is aiming for. It looks rather exciting. It reminds me of the blood rave from Blade, but with more guns. Sometimes that is all I need to see for me to be in.

EvilVEvil is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam this Summer for $19.99. A closed beta will be available on March 1st. You can head over to the Steam page to sign up and for more details.
