‘Double Blind’ Exclusive Clip: Do Not Fall Asleep
Coming soon from Epic Pictures Group, the parent company of Dread Central, is the sci-fi thriller Double Blind. The film, directed by Irish filmmaker Ian Hunt-Duffy, imagines a terrifying reality where if you fall asleep, you die. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like my worst nightmare (pun intended).

Double Blind begins as an experimental drug trial goes horribly wrong, and seven young test subjects must face the terrifying side effect of the drug: if you fall asleep you die. Trapped in an isolated medical facility, they must find a way to escape, and somehow manage to stay awake.

Of Millie Brady’s performance as Claire, director Ian Hunt-Duffy told Dread Central,
“She really connected with Claire’s backstory, her relationship with her mother, and her fatalistic outlook towards life, but was also eager to sink her teeth into all the stunt work and fight choreography, and portraying the different stages of sleep deprivation and exhaustion and how that affects the body. “
Brady stars in Double Blind with Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead), Diarmuid Noyes (Blood), Akshay Kumar (Count Abdulla), Brenock O’Connor (Game of Thrones), Abby Fitz (The Cellar), Shonagh Marie (Britannia), and Frank Blake (Cherry). Darach McGarrigle wrote the film and Simon James Doyle served as producer.
