Great Cast Stung By a New Horror ComedyLooking forward to the new mutant wasp-laden horror comedy buzzing our way, Stung? Then get ready for an eye- and ear-ful as a series of production videos has hit the interwebs. Hey, it’s Monday! Why not start your goofing off early this week?

Stung stars Matt O’Leary, Jessica Cook, Peter Stormare, and Lance Henriksen. The film is directed by Benni Diez and produced by Christian Becker and Benjamin Munz from Rat Pack Filmproduction and executive produced by XYZ Films. Stung was developed by Munz based on an idea by Adam Aresty, who won Rat Pack’s 2012 horror-writing contest “Write for Your Life.”

“STUNG, to me, is bringing the creature feature cult film feeling from the 80s into the present and a modern day fun-horror movie,” director Diez said previously.

Synopsis:
In STUNG a fancy garden party goes terribly wrong after a local species of wasps mutates into giant predators. It’s up to Paul and Julia, two catering staffers at the high society event, to stop the killer creatures – an effort that kick-starts a budding romance between the two.
