Jamie Lee Curtis Auctions Off Signed Michael Myers Masks for CharityHot on the heels of her appearance at Cincinnati’s HorrorHound Weekend convention earlier this year – her first and last convention appearance – Jamie Lee Curtis is now going one step further in her bid to use her star power to get horror fans to raise money for her favorite charity…

She’s donating two Michael Myers masks, signed by herself and a whole host of other stars from the franchise. Read on for all the details about the masks, one of which is screen-worn!

From the Press Release
In honor of the 35th anniversary of John Carpenter’s Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis has partnered with global charity auction site Charitybuzz to auction off Michael Myers masks from her personal collection. The scream queen has generously donated a replica of the mask from the original 1978 film, one of five in her private collection, with signatures from the surviving original cast members – John Carpenter, Nancy Loomis, Kyle Richards, and more – making this an incredibly rare item for any memorabilia collector.

There is also a film-used mask from H2O: Halloween 20 Years Later up for grabs, featuring signatures from Michelle Williams, LL Cool J, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Josh Hartnett, and others.

Bidding on these items, valued at $10,000 each, is open now until October 31 – proceeds from the auction will benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Charitybuzz has even more amazing Halloween-themed auctions this fall season, from star-studded costume parties to TV show walk-ons! Rob Zombie fans can bid to meet him at the Great American Nightmare Music Festival and watch his live show November 2nd. Heidi Klum is auctioning off the chance for a fan to see what outrageous costume she’ll wear to her highly anticipated Halloween Party when they meet her in New York City. Even more of Hollywood’s elite will be in attendance at David Arquette’s Halloween bash at his club in “Bootsy Bellows” in LA. Finally, fans of HBO’s “True Blood” are in for a treat when they visit the set and enjoy an extra role during the show’s last season.
