A new indie flick is on its way from director Jordan Pacheco entitled Dead Bounty featuring the first “unmasked” Michael Myers, Tony Moran, and we have your first look and more cold off of the slab! Dig it!
From the Press Release
While on the search for a fleeing felon, Dead Bounty (directed by Jordan Pacheco) follows a group of bounty hunters, lead by ‘Bosk’ (Tony Moran) and ‘Henry’ (Timothy Patrick Quill), who head into a vast New England forest in hopes to capture a dangerous man. Closing in on their quarry, the group encounters more than just a murderer on the run when they are confronted with a seemingly endless horde of the undead. With no shelter, no help and no end to the carnage, survival seems hopeless.
Horror icon Tony Moran, who is best known for playing Michael Myers in John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978), plays the role of ‘Bosk’ in the film. To prepare for his role, Moran shaved his head and grew out facial hair. Moran, who is also a producer on Dead Bounty, stated that he has never shaved his head for a role in the past. Fellow bounty hunter, and veteran actor, Timothy Patrick Quill (Army of Darkness, My Name is Bruce, Spider-man) plays the role of ‘Henry’. Moran and Quill play the senior bounty hunters who have seen it all and are wise beyond their years. Moran’s character, ‘Bosk’, is known at times to not follow the rules. Newcomer to the group, ‘Hannah’, played by Cate Carson, questions Bosk’s approach and sets up for a dramatic relationship within the team. The other bounty hunters, ‘Jr.’, played by Jim Baker, and ‘Colt’, played by David Carpenter, round out the group with their strong performances.
Dead Bounty will mark the second feature Jordan Pacheco has directed which David Langill produced this year, their other being Provoked. Dead Bounty marks Langill’s fourth feature in two years that he has produced. Along with assistance from fellow writers George Kent Guarino (additional story) and David Langill (additional material), Pacheco also wrote Dead Bounty.
Emmy award-winning director of photography Ken Willinger performs the cinematography on Dead Bounty using a RED Epic.
Dead Bounty stars Tony Moran, Timothy Patrick Quill, David Carpenter, Cate Carson, Jim Baker, Kati Salowsky, Jaquelyn Fabian, Alexander Gauthier, Chris O’Reilly, Johnny Sederquist, Elizabeth Labrecque, Rachel Ladd, Julia Neveu, Kevin O. Peterson, Molly Bettencourt, Nathaniel Sylva, Jamie Lyn Bagley, Anthony Hoang, Michael Thurber, Alexandra Cipolla, Michaelah Noelle Nunes, Rob Marin, and special appearance by Justin Beahm.
