Absurd Horror Comedy ‘Zomblogalypse’ Released On Blu-ray By Dark Rift Presents
You may know Stewart Sparke as the director of films such as The Creature Below and How to Kill Monsters. He also helmed Dread’s very own Book of Monsters, which you can purchase now from the Epic Pictures store. Now, Sparke, owner and founder of the production company Dark Rift Horror, recently announced that he is going to launch a physical distribution label through the company called Dark Rift Presents.
The purpose of the Dark Rift Presents label is to showcase independently produced British horror films. Each of the films released by Dark Rift Presents will be released on Blu-ray in limited quantities, so you shouldn’t wait too long before getting your hands on them.

Sparke confirmed via a press release that the first film set to be released by Dark Rift Presents will be Zomblogalypse, a horror comedy about a group of friends who decide to make their very own movie about a zombie outbreak while living in a world where an actual zombie outbreak occurred a decade earlier. An adaptation of the web series of the same name, Zomblogalypse was directed by Hannah Bungard, Tony Hipwell, and Miles Watts, who also all wrote the script. It stars Lyndsey Craine, Andrina Carroll, Andrew Dunn, Tony Hipwell, Miles Watts, and Alan Melikdjanian. The absurd-sounding zombie comedy is now available on Blu-ray from Dark Rift Films, and you can order your copy here. The disc is crammed with over an hour of special features, making it an essential item for horror collectors.
The next film to be released on Blu-ray by Dark Rift Films will be the acclaimed How to Kill Monsters, which earned a great response when it premiered at FrightFest last year. While it does not yet have a firm release date, we can expect to hear more about the Blu-ray release of How to Kill Monsters in the coming months.
