First World of Warcraft Cast AnnouncedThat’s right, kids! Legendary Pictures has announced the very first cast members for its big screen adaptation of the Blizzard Entertainment video game juggernaut World of Warcraft. Read on for the latest.

Thus far Ben Foster (pictured; “Six Feet Under,” Pandorum, Rampart), Travis Fimmel (“Vikings,” The Experiment), Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), and Rob Kazinsky (“True Blood,” Pacific Rim) have joined the fold. No word as of yet as to who will be repping The Horde.

Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) has closed a deal with Legendary Pictures to bring a live action version of WoW to the big screen. Charles Leavitt (The Seventh Son) came on board last August to pen the script. Legendary said it’s planning to start lensing in the fall for a summer 2015 release.

Legendary picked up film rights to adapt the popular fantasy video game franchise in 2006.
