This Documentary About Quentin Tarantino Is Now Free-To-Stream
I may not always agree with his hot takes but I really enjoy the cinematic output of Quentin Tarantino. The Oscar-winning director and I share a mutual appreciation for the exploitation fare of the ‘70s. His work is highly influenced by that time period. So, it’s no great wonder why I seem to connect with his filmography.
If you count yourself a fan of Tarantino, you may want to make a point to seek out the retrospective career documentary QT8: The First Eight. The doc chronicles the celebrated director’s films from Reservoir Dogs through The Hateful Eight. A series of Tarantino collaborators weigh in on the director’s output, making for an informative viewing experience.
Here is the official synopsis for the documentary: From Reservoir Dogs to The Hateful Eight, actors and collaborators examine the first eight films from acclaimed director/screenwriter Quentin Tarantino.
Seeing as there is no one more qualified to speak to Tarantino’s filmography than the man himself, it’s a shame the director didn’t participate in the documentary. However, don’t let that deter you. There’s still plenty of useful information contained within.
