‘Horror In The High Desert 3’ Is Now Streaming On Prime Video

It’s a good day to be a horror fan because, finally, Dutch Marich’s third installment of his terrifying found footage saga Horror In The High Desert is now officially available on Prime Video. The first two installments established an unsettling and stomach-churning world where something lurks in the hills of Nevada’s high desert. Now, with Horror In The High Desert 3: Firewatch, Marich brings up back to Gary’s story and those searching for what he found out in the wilderness.

Read the full synopsis of the first film below:

As a wildfire bears down on the opposite side of the state, Oscar Mendoza, armed with a secret, takes advantage of the distraction and journeys to Northeastern Nevada in search of missing outdoorsman Gary Hinge’s last known whereabouts. This is the third installment in the Horror in the High Desert series.

Watch the official trailer:

Marco Antonio Parra joins the cast as Oscar Mendoza, alongside series regulars Suziey Block and David Morales.

The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Unnamed Footage Festival in March, where it won best feature and best director. I was lucky enough to attend the world premiere and in my review of the film, I wrote, “Marich continues to build a believably bone-chilling world as he reveals more and more about what exactly is lurking in the wilds of the high desert while also delivering a surprisingly sad tale about finding acceptance in the digital world.”

Marich once again crafts scare after scare that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat until the credits roll. Each film in this series is scarier than the next, and I cannot wait to see what Marich creates with the upcoming fourth film in the Horror In The High Desert saga.
