Florida Walmart Serial Flasher Apprehended [Horror IRL]

Florida

Authorities have arrested a Winter Haven, Florida man after reports that he flashed a series of Walmart customers in the parking lot of one of the company’s retail locations.

ABC Action News reports that the first documented incident of indecent exposure involves a customer who was waiting for a family member who was shopping inside the store. The suspect, Alexander Webster, allegedly pulled up beside the victim in a Toyota Corolla and exposed himself on June 30, 2024. He was holding a cell phone in one hand. The shocked patron didn’t initially call the police because she was so taken aback by what happened. But she eventually spoke with authorities about the shocking ordeal.

The second report unfolds much like the first. Two patrons were waiting for a family member inside the store on July 6 when a Toyota Corolla pulled up beside them. The suspect allegedly exposed himself to the passengers and, once again, had a cell phone in his other hand. This time, the victims phoned the police immediately. However, the suspect had left the premises by the time law enforcement arrived on the scene. Fortunately, the callers managed to jot down the car’s license plate number.

The car came back as registered to Webster. Police questioned him on July 9. Webster admitted to being in the Walmart parking lot on both dates but denied any lascivious behavior. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with exposure of sexual organs.

Winter Haven Police Chief David Brannan issued a statement saying:

“We believe there are possibly more victims who encountered this criminal, and we encourage them to contact us immediately.” If you have any information about this case, you should reach out to the Winter Haven Police Department at 863-401-2256.
