Exclusive Teen Wolf Video Interview: The Werewolves of London (Hotel)

We caught up with MTV’s hot, howling young werewolves at The London Hotel in Hollywood just one day after the spooky premiere of “Teen Wolf” Season 3B. (Or is it 4? That’s debatable – check out our exclusive video interview for the lowdown on that.)
Although it was somewhat disappointing that stars Tyler Posey (Scott) and Dylan O’Brien (Stiles) were not very representative of their #1 Google search term (“shirtless”), their lovely co-star Crystal Reed (Allison) made up for it in gorgeous Chanel couture.
The three of them sat down to chat with us – and you – about response to the premiere and what we can expect as the second half of the third season unfurls. (Off camera, Posey promised we’d see a lot more with the newly introduced character Kira [played by Arden Cho], including some Asian-horror influence and samurai sword action.)
In case you missed it after five long months of waiting between Season 3A and 3B, the episode, helmed by Russell Mulcahy, begins with Stiles suffering a terrible, inescapable nightmare. As well he should be, since he (and his pals) killed themselves in the previous season (kind of…). That’s got to make sweet slumbers tricky, at best.
As we get vicariously sucked into this vortex of dream and reality, we’re treated to a pinch of Poe (Edgar Allan, not the singer-songwriter) and more fake-outs than an aging boxer has comebacks. As deftly directed as any feature film, and looking as luscious, “Teen Wolf” ups the ante once again.
One of the most promising previews is the introduction of Kira, the new girl at Beacon Hills High. Not shy, she jumps into covert conversation between our heroes at lunch upon overhearing their exchange on some sticky supernatural situations, telling them she thinks they might be experiencing “Barto” – that’s a Tibetan word for in-between state… the gulf between life and death. Can she help them shake their demons? Only time will tell.
Tune in every Moonday… er, Monday on MTV for the latest episode (and check the official “Teen Wolf” website and your local listings for repeats).
