The first awards show of 2014 aired tonight on CBS, the People’s Choice Awards, and with several new categories arriving this year, horror made a pretty strong showing. Check out the highlights here!
“The Walking Dead” shows no signs of slowing down in fan popularity, nabbing both Favorite Cable TV Drama and Favorite TV Anti-Hero for Andrew Lincoln’s portrayal of Rick Grimes. “American Horror Story” was voted Favorite TV Movie/Miniseries, and some of our CW favorites – “Supernatural,” “The Originals,” and “The Vampire Diaries” – won in various categories.
On the film side of things, Sandra Bullock had one hell of a night, being named Favorite Movie, Comedic, and Dramatic Actress as well as part of fans’ Favorite Movie Duo with her Gravity co-star, George Clooney. We don’t even want to mention who won Favorite Horror Movie… just read it and weep.
