Nasty New Netflix Series is Scandalizing Audiences: “Rich people are creepy and evil”

Netflix

Maybe it’s just me, but lately, it’s been so much more challenging to just sit down, dim the lights, and watch something. It’s not that I’m distracted or not interested, more that the day’s exhaustion makes it more of a struggle to pick something than it should. There’s a lot out there I want to watch, but when the time comes, I’m almost overwhelmed. Often, I concede to whatever recommendations I find online. It’s a tragic yet true fact—you’ll never be able to watch everything. Sometimes I need a little nudge of motivation, and to return the favor, I’m here to nudge you—you’ve gotta check out Netflix’s Master of the House.

Per Netflix: A family enters a power struggle following the death of their patriarch, who leaves behind his diamond empire – and the housekeeper he recently married.

The Thai murder mystery has taken the top spot in the Global Non-English Netflix charts while simultaneously breaking into the Top 10 in 63 other countries. In the United States, Master of the House cracked the Top 10 for the Week of July 29.

Master of the House is soapy, mysterious, cheesy, and all-around fun. I love a good murder mystery more than anything, and Master of the House has a great one at its center. With a vast fortune on the line, everyone is a suspect.

Master of the House isn’t the first Thai Netflix hit, either. Last year, the culinary thriller Hunger managed to score a ton of success in the United States. Viewers have been loving Master of the House and have taken to the internet to share their thoughts. Check out some choice reactions below:
