‘Ganymede’ Exclusive Clip: David Koechner Delivers A Haunting Sermon
The last few years have seen an influx in queer horror storytelling. From Carter Smith’s Swallowed and Nate Dushku’s Birder to Michelle Garza Cervera’s Huesera: The Bone Woman, queer filmmakers are slowly being given the resources (however minimal) to craft unique tales of horror. Creative and life partners Colby Holt and Sam Probst are joining the wave of New Queer Horror Cinema with their new film Ganymede, co-directed by the pair from a script written by Holt.
In the film,
When a small-town wrestling star develops a crush on an openly gay classmate, he begins to be stalked by a grotesque creature that invades his thoughts, all the while struggling to live up to the standard set by his legacy-obsessed dad.
In our exclusive clip from Ganymede, David Koechner’s character delivers an acerbic sermon as our young protagonist struggles with the desire inside him.
Watch now:
Jordan Doww (Reach), Pablo Castelblanco (Alaska Daily), David Koechner (Cheap Thrills), Robyn Lively (Teen Witch), Joe Chrest (Stranger Things) and Marissa Reyes (Raven’s Home) star in the film.
Ganymede is out now on Cable and Digital VOD.
