Want to hear something remarkable? With Halloween on the horizon, John Griffin’s MGM+ series From has ranked at number two on the Prime Video charts. With a third season set to premiere on September 22, it’s the perfect time to stream the first two seasons for free and see what all the buzz is about. For the From uninitiated, check out a trailer and synopsis below:

Here at Dread Central, we can’t get enough of From. Based on its position on the Prime Video streaming charts (where it has remained in the Top 10 for over 100 days), we’re not alone in that sentiment. Last year, we ranked the second season as one of the best pieces of horror television of the year. In our retrospective, we wrote:

“This is the most stressful and scariest show on TV. I don’t care where we put it on our lists. You cannot take that honor away from this Harold Perrineau-fronted nightmare fuel. This season opens in high-stakes territory with so many souls in peril after the first season finale. It rarely takes its foot off the gas pedal as it puts its characters through different stages of hell. There were so many stress-inducing moments this season that it is a miracle my heart did not give out. All this anxiety is also wrapped in so many mysteries that I might need to invest in a Scandal board to help me organize my investigation. I am looking forward to continuing to scream “What?” every episode whenever season three is ready.”

Per Prime Video: From unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the forest including the terrifying creatures that come out at night.

Even the master of horror Stephen King himself is a huge fan of the series. He has regularly tweeted his praise for the show, calling it “believable and scary and hell.” Check out some of his tweets below:

The show is akin to a modern phenomenon. Audiences and critics can’t seem to get enough of what From has to offer. And with a new season on the horizon, it’s going to be another season of scares.
