‘Beezel’: Shocking New Trailer Unleashes the Blind Witch [Watch]

Beezel

Co-writers Aaron Fradkin and Victoria Fratz have reteamed with Dread to deliver a ghastly tale of disturbing witchy terror. You’ll remember this exciting creative duo from their work on Dread’s devilish cult classic Val, a film about an alluring, lingerie-glad demon you do not want to piss off. Now it’s time to prepare for Beezel, an unforgiving shocker that spans 60 years, three unfortunate victims, and one bloodthirsty New England witch…

Writer/director Aaron Fradkin and writer/star Victoria Fratz Fradkin’s previous project, The Ballerina, went wildly viral recently when it amassed over 19 million views on YouTube. Their buzzy imprint, Social House Films, was even recently highlighted as one of the leading independent horror filmmakers in GQ. Icons only.

Fratz stars in the new film alongside Nicolas Robin, LeJon Woods, and Caroline Quigley. Expect a limited theatrical run beginning September 20, and on September 24 the film will be available to rent or buy via VOD.

In Beezel, over six tumultuous decades, three unwitting guests of a cursed New England home stumble upon a sinister secret dwelling beneath its floors—an eternal witch with an insatiable thirst for the souls of the living.

“I’m really excited for audiences to experience Beezel. Aaron and Victoria have truly outdone themselves, creating something that will terrify, thrill, and haunt audiences long after the credits roll. I can’t wait to see people on the edge of their seats.” says Epic Pictures/Dread’s VP of US Distribution and Creative, Yulissa Morales.

“Beezel has a darkness that sinks you deep into a terrified trance from the very first scene and doesn’t let go,” says writer/director Aaron Fradkin while writer/star Victoria Fratz Fradkin notes “It’s the kind of film you won’t be able to stop thinking about even when it’s done.”

Beezel will have a limited theatrical run beginning September 20, and on September 24 the film will be available to rent or purchase on video-on-demand (VOD).
