High Point Gazes into Haunted MirrorThere was a news story last year about a supposedly haunted mirror, which brought a string of bad luck and misfortune to its owners. Perfect set-up for a horror flick, you’re thinking? Well, someone already beat ya to it!

Screen Daily reports that UK sales outfit High Point has just acquired the rights to The Mirror, a found footage film that picks up where the real-life story ended.

Directed by Ed Boase, the film focuses on three intrepid flatmates who purchase the supposedly haunted antique on eBay and set up round-the-clock cameras in the hopes of capturing evidence of something going bump in the night as a means to win the James Randi Foundation’s $1M Paranormal Challenge.

Jemma Dallender (I Spit on Your Grave 2) stars alongside Joshua Dickinson and Nate Fallows.
