‘Livescreamers’: New Video Game Horror Is Out Now!
Get ready gamers, because one of the best video game horror movies you’ve never seen is out now! Writer and director Michelle Iannantuono’s film Livescreamers is a chilling and impressive look at gaming culture, obsessive fans, and interpersonal (and parasocial) relationships.
In Livescreamers:
A group of content creators are pitted against each other in a gruesome video game with lethal stakes. In addition to taking audiences on a thrilling ride through horror games, the film tackles issues of parasocial relationships, corporate greed, and the crushing unsustainability of online creation.

In her review of the film from the 2024 Unnamed Footage Festival, Dread Central’s Mary Beth McAndrews wrote,
“Livescreamers is Stay Alive for a new generation, a tense yet entertaining piece of video game horror that emulates our ever-changing relationship with technology, video games, and the digital world.”
Michael Smallwood (Halloween Kills, The Righteous Gemstones), Christopher Trindade (Worst Laid Plans), and Ryan LaPlante (Holy Hell) lead the film’s stellar ensemble cast.
