‘Crust’ Exclusive Clip: You Pissed Off The Wrong Sock Monster
Sean Whalen has been a cinema staple for decades, showing off his talents in front of the camera in films such as The People Under The Stairs and Twister. Now, he’s adding feature film director to his resume with his new film Crust. A loving homage to creature features of the past, Whalen weaves horror tropes with comedy to craft a story about love and loneliness.

Vegas Winters (Sean Whalen) is a depressed washed-up child actor who fled Tinseltown and owns and lives in a rundown laundromat. But, the despondent man’s tears of anguish turn a pile of socks into a loving monster named Crust, who protects Vegas and begins to eliminate his enemies.

Whalen stars in the film with Daniel Roebuck (Rob Zombie’s The Munsters), Rebekah Kennedy (Two Witches), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), and Ricky Dean Logan (Back To The Future II and III), as well as Alan Ruck and Shawntay Dalon (Detroiters).
Whalen co-wrote the script with Jim Wald. Felissa Rose (Stream), Daniel John Kearney (Dark Circles), and Chris Sergi (I’m Just Fu*king With You) served as producers on the film.
Crust comes to digital on November 12, 2024, and to Blu-ray on December 10, 2024!
