Cottrell stars in the film with Mason Thames (The Black Phone), Nora Zehetner (The Right Stuff), Abby James Witherspoon (Secret Headquarters), Lilah Pate (Outer Banks), Julian Lerner (The Wonder Years), and Patrick Renna (The Sandlot), along with Mel Gibson and Lorraine Bracco.
David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place) directed the film from a script by Cornelius Uliano and Bryan Schulz (The Peanuts Movie).
