Danny Trejo is a genre staple, especially when it comes to contemporary grindhouse fare. Most recently, he’s starred in John Gulager‘s bloody horror film Seven Cemeteries, where Trejo and a zombie posse enact supernatural revenge!
In the film, “A recent parolee (Danny Trejo) gets a Mexican witch to resurrect his old posse so that they can help him save a woman’s ranch from a ruthless drug lord.”

Gulager directs the film from a script he co-wrote with Joel Soisson. Gulager himself is a genre icon, directing films such as the underrated Feast (2005) and its subsequent sequels and Piranha 3DD.
Trejo stars in the film with Sal Lopez, Samantha Ashley, Efren Ramirez, Vincent M. Ward, Lew Temple, Richard Esteras, Emma Ramos, and Maria Canals-Barrera
