The Original ‘Goosebumps’ Series Is Now Streaming For Free

I have R.L. Stine to thank for shaping my young mind with his Goosebumps series. While Stephen King plays a huge part in my literary upbringing, Stine’s Goosebumps took my hand and lead me through a plethora of spooky scenarios that terrified and delighted me. So of course the TV show was also a childhood favorite. Seeing my favorite horror stories brought to life was an incredible experience and now, Tubi is letting me and every other 90s horror kid relive that experience by bringing all four seasons of the series to the service!

The original Goosebumps series ran from 1995 to 1998, with four seasons containing episodes inspired by the best and scariest of Stine’s book series. It premiered in the U.S. on Fox Family in 1995 with the two-part episode “The Haunted Mask”, a personal favorite of mine.

But that also brings me to a little caveat. While Tubi has almost every episode of Goosebumps, the streamer doesn’t have any of what have been deemed special episodes. That means any two-part episodes, like “The Haunted Mask”. Those are all streaming on Netflix.

So if you’re looking for “The Haunted Mask”, “A Night in Terror Tower”, “The Werewolf of Fever Swamp”, “The Haunted Mask II”, “Welcome to the Dead House”, and “The Night of the Living Dummy III”, those are all on Netflix. All other episodes are available on Tubi!

Aren’t sure where to start? Might I suggest season 1, episode 2, “It Came From Beneath The Sink”? Starring a young Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps), the episode follows a girl who finds a monster sponge living under her sink. It’s silly, creepy, and features a member of horror royalty! From there, just let the episodes play and enjoy the spooky ride.

Listen to Scarred for Life hosts Mary Beth and Terry chat about the very episode with Influencer director Kurtis David Harder and star Cassandra Naud:

If you’ve caught up all four original seasons, then head over to Disney+ to experience a new generation of Goosebumps. The first season is streaming now, with season two, Goosebumps: The Vanishing, coming to the service in January 2025.

So pump up the volume and blast that iconic theme song, because Tubi has your viewing plans set for the next few days.
