Read the full synopsis below:
Camp Triple Moon follows a group of troubled teenagers sent to a secluded rehabilitation camp, where they are forced to confront their past as well as the malevolent forces lurking in the shadows. The campers quickly realize that the area harbors dark secrets and their inner struggles aren’t the only forces threatening their lives. As strange occurrences unfold and tensions within the group escalate, the campers discover the terrifying legend of the Bodach—a sinister trickster from Irish folklore that haunts the forest, preying on those who dare to enter.
With their lives at stake, they must band together and enlist the help of the town Sheriff Frank (played by Dan Roebuck), to survive the horrors that Camp Triple Moon has in store.
Produced by ERC, Camp Triple Moon begins filming in West Virginia in May 2025, with a theatrical release planned for October 2025. Award-winning cinematographer and director Eric Courtney (Seer, An Irish Exorcism), will co-direct alongside award-winning screenwriter Tom Finnegan (Four One Zero, You Did This).
“We’re excited to welcome Dan Roebuck to our team, particularly following his success in Terrifier 3. His depth of character, on-screen experience, and magnetic charisma will undoubtedly enhance this story that we are so thrilled to bring to life,” said Courtney and Finnegan.
They continued, saying, “Having faced some of the genre’s most notorious villains, Daniel has an impressive grasp of the intricacies of iconic horror films that will help make this story resonate on the big screen. In this project, we’ve developed a villain inspired by our own Irish heritage—and given West Virginia’s history of Irish settlers, we believe there’s a unique narrative to explore through the innovative lens of folk horror filmmaking.”
