Finally Jurassic World is being constructed! Well at least the sets of it are. Read on for details and the first images from an area that will soon be crawling with dinosaurs… glorious dinosaurs!
According to a tipster who submitted images to On Location Vacations:
Set construction is underway at Kualoa Ranch, where the original film was also shot back in 1993, and can be seen from the Pali Lookout, near Chinaman’s Hat and the fishpond. Our tipster also spotted directional signs posted at the construction entrance that say EBB.
“EBB” matches with the code-name “Ebb Tide” – the cover title Jurassic World has been given throughout its production.
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, and Nick Robinson are in various stages of talks to star. Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) penned the script with Derek Connolly and will direct the film. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is known that Robinson would play Simpkins’ older brother.
Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Pat Crowley will produce Jurassic World, which is set to begin filming in early 2014. The dinosaurs will hit theaters June 12, 2015.
We’ll have more as it comes.
