This Small but Mighty Show Is the #1 Most Searched Streaming Horror Series

From

I love an underdog story. And I have a great one to share with you today, dear reader. The story in question is about the streaming series FROM. Although FROM isn’t on a top-tier streamer, it has still successfully made a name for itself and built a ravenous fanbase that includes the likes of Stephen King. This MGM+ original continues to entice fans with each new season. Not surprisingly, the show has already been greenlit for a fourth season, which is currently slated to debut at some point in 2026.

Thanks to the series’ enthusiastic fanbase, FROM is having a moment right now. In fact, the show currently stands as the most searched horror program on both Wikipedia and JustWatch.Com.

From

As I previously mentioned, the great Stephen King is a fan. The prolific author once tweeted the following endorsement: “From: I’m three episodes in. Wonderful concept, beautifully handled. Is it possible these people are dead and don’t know it? That spike through the head…holy cow.”

The setup for FROM goes as follows:

From unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.

I must admit that I haven’t actually checked this one out yet. But after conducting some research for this post, I find myself curious to see what all the fuss is about. I love an unpredictable mystery with plenty of twists, after all. If you find yourself in a similar state of mind, navigate over to MGM+ where you can give the show a look-see. The platform is currently offering a seven-day free trial. So, you’ve got nothing to lose.

John Griffin created FROM. The series began development at YouTube Red and eventually moved to the now-defunct Epix. Epix was eventually rebranded as MGM+ and the rest is history.

The show’s core cast includes Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Scott McCord, and Ricky He.

That’s all we have for you, for the time being. Stay tuned to Dread Central for more updates on which streaming series are making waves. If you’d like to harass me to watch FROM, come find me on Threads and tell me what I’m missing.
