‘The Weeping’ Exclusive: Reggie Lee Joins Cast Of Upcoming Horror Thriller
Reggie Lee, star of series such Grimm, Prison Break, and All Rise, has signed on to the upcoming horror thriller The Weeping, directed by Spyder Dobrofsky. Lee joins an all-star cast that also features Disney star Lindsey Shaw
In the film, “When a group of friends go camping in a protected Native American forest, they
unknowingly wake up a sinister beast that haunts all who trespass.”
Importantly, while primiarly a horror film, The Weeping will also center on themes of conservation and honoring Indigenous land.
Dobrofsky most recently directed Down Below, which stars Eric Roberts (Babylon), Bai Ling (The Crow), and horror legend Doug Jones. He also penned the script for The Real Housewives of the North Pole.
Lee and Shaw star in the film alongside Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spiderman, The Leftovers), Shoshana Bush (On My Block, Dance Flick), Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect, Project X), and Hutch Dano (Zeke & Luther, Zombeavers).
The Weeping will be produced by female duo, Brienne Austen and Giovanna Andolina of Rock
and Royal Productions.
Knapp is repped by 831 Entertainment. Shaw is repped by Established Artists. Lee is repped
by Greene Talent. Zylka is repped by Untitled Entertainment. Dano is repped by MGMT
Artists. Bush is repped by Stewart Talent.
