In honor of Friday the 13th, award-winning filmmaker Nicholas Gyeney has unveiled the artwork for an exclusive The Activated Man t-shirt designed by popular limited edition apparel company Rucking Fotten. The shirt will premiere for sale on RuckingFotten.com at 12 AM EST on Friday, December 13th, to coincide with The Activated Man’s opening day in select theaters nationwide. The t-shirt will be available for 72 hours only, before being locked away into Rucking Fotten’s creative vault.

In the film,

Jamie Costa stars as an everyman who loses his beloved dog, Louis. His grief spurs disturbing visions that cause him to wonder if he’s dealing with the usual highs and lows of a painful loss, or if darker forces are preying on his mind.

As the film’s story deals heavily with the loss of a beloved animal, all proceeds for the limited edition t-shirt will go to late horror icon Tony Todd’s preferred animal charity, the ASPCA’s Los Angeles Initiative.

The Activated Man will have an exclusive premiere at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills on Thursday, December 12, where attending VIP guests will be the first to receive an exclusive variant of the Rucking Fotten t-shirt.

Fans attending one of two special opening-day fan event screenings in Los Angeles on Friday the 13th with Gyeney and star Kane Hodder in attendance will also get a chance to score the exclusive limited edition design as Kane meets fans and hands out free t-shirts to the crowd.

“I have been a big fan of Rucking Fotten and their amazing t-shirt designs for years. It is an absolute honor to have their support for The Activated Man,” comments Gyeney. “We’re so excited to be able to share our special film with audiences throughout North America starting Friday the 13th, and to do it sporting a Rucking Fotten designed shirt for the film just makes the whole ride sweeter.”

Rucking Fotten’s Director of Marketing and Partnerships, Jeff Haidaczuk, added, “We had been planning to do a shirt for The Activated Man for a few months, but when we lost Tony back in November we instantly knew that we had to use the opportunity to rally both the RF and horror communities to give back in Tony’s honor. We are extremely grateful to Nick for allowing us to be part of The Activated Man celebration, and we hope the fans are as stoked on it as we are.”
