‘Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare’: Get An Exclusive Look At The Film’s Creepy Rendition of Hook
From Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios, the makers of Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2, comes Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, a new entry in the Twisted Childhood Universe. In the terrifying new film written and directed by Scott Chambers, Peter Pan isn’t a childhood hero, but rather a monster who kidnaps children. Ahead of the film’s upcoming limited theatrical run, we have an exclusive preview of the film’s Hook, who looks just a little different than what you saw growing up.
But first, read the film’s full synopsis:
The newest entry into the Poohniverse follows Wendy Darling as she strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from the clutches of the evil Peter Pan who intends to send him to Neverland. Along the way she meets a twisted Tinkerbell, who is hooked on what she thinks is fairy dust.
So how exactly does the dreaded Captain Hook play into everything? Director Scott Chambers exclusively told Dread Central: “Hook has been flipped on his head. Now residing in a cell where he has a bucket he defecates in, living in a world of torment and hell under the power of Peter Pan. Will Hook ever make it to Neverland?“
Now check out Dread Central’s exclusive first look at Hook’s design!
Henry Whitfield, also known as the drag persona Charity Kase, portrays the twisted new take on Hook. Previously, Charity Kase appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 3. With an obvious love of horror coming through in her looks alone, it looks like they found the perfect person to embody the iconic character.
Whitfield stars in Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare alongside Megan Placito (The Salt Path) as Wendy Darling, Martin Portlock (TV’s Britain’s Got Talent) as Peter Pan, Kit
Green (Dragon’s Dogma 2) as Tinkerbell, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope’s
Exorcist) as Michael, and Kierston Wareing (Fish Tank) as Roxy, with Nicholas Woodeson (Skyfall) as Steven.
Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2) produced the film, with Stuart Alson (Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2) and Nicole Holland (Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2) serving as executive producers. The film is a Jagged Edge Production with ITN Studios and Premiere Entertainment handling sales.
Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare arrives in theaters for only three days starting on January 13, 2025, until January 15, 2025, only from Iconic Events Releasing.
