‘The Fetus’ Trailer: Lauren LaVera and Bill Moseley Star In New Pregnancy Horror-Comedy
Fresh off Terrifier 3, Lauren LaVera is already jumping back into the horror genre with the new horror-comedy The Fetus, written and directed by Joe Lam. Starring alongside genre legend Bill Moseley, these two horror icons are ready to terrify and entertain in this new tale of demonic pregnancy.

When Alyessa becomes pregnant, it brings up Chris’ deep-rooted trauma surrounding fatherhood. Upon discovering that their fetus craves human blood, they visit their father, Maddox, for answers.

In his director’s statement, Lam said, “With The Fetus, I wanted to delve into the emotional terrain of Alyessa’s unwanted pregnancy, exploring the complexities it imposes on her relationships with her father Maddox and her partner Chris. The fetus becomes a metaphorical antagonist, unraveling both Chris and Alyessa’s psyche, leading them on a haunting journey of fear, self-discovery, and the intricate web of family dynamics.”
LaVera and Moseley star in the film alongside Julian Curtis and Amy Arena.
