salon sinister

Queer horror writers, listen up! There’s a new queer horror literary magazine on the scene and they’re looking for your work. Salon Sinster, started by writer and editor Blayne Waterloo, is a new digital publication that offers a place for 2SLGBTQIA+ creatives in horror to share their voices.

According to the site, “As 2SLGBTQIA+, our voices are not only SCARCELY represented, they’re being actively stifled by our government and society. This is our opportunity to document the times accordingly with our art. You are horror history. lend your voice.”

They’re currently looking for poetry, art, op-eds, and short stories with a genre spin from queer writers. If selected, publication is free and comes with editing help if needed.

The inaugural ebook for Salon Sinister will be published in Summer 2025. Find submission forms and learn more at salonsinister.com.
