‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Star Andrew Ferchland Joins ‘What’s Wrong Wendy’ Cast

What's Wrong Wendy

Coming soon from Street Rat Studios and FinalGhoul Films is the queer nightmare, What’s Wrong Wendy, described as “a sapphic tribute to the monstrous, feral women who struggle to hold onto their humanity.” Hello, that’s me! Directed by Dusty Austen and written by Spooky Madison, the film is described as, “Think a dash of Jennifer’s Body, a sprinkle of Ginger Snaps, and a dollop of High Tension, all rolled into the packaging of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” And what better way to celebrate that Buffy influence than to cast a member of the series’ stacked, well, cast!

The production is excited to announce that Andrew Ferchland, who played “The Anointed One” in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, will be playing the role of Collin in What’s Wrong Wendy! Most recently, he was an assistant director and actor in the short film MacGuffin.

But what exactly is What’s Wrong Wendy about? Read the full synopsis below:

Wendy Day is just an ordinary pizza delivery chick, planning to spend her Friday night driving around, collecting tips, and listening to music. Instead, on her first delivery of the night she’s invited to a house party. Things take a dark turn when Wendy disappears from the party and later turns up bloodsoaked on the doorstep of her crush, Victoria Sinclair… and something is very, very wrong with Wendy.

What’s Wrong Wendy is co-produced by Street Rat Studios and FinalGhoul Films in association with NewHire Entertainment. Learn more and contribute to their Indiegogo here.
