There’s no question that everyone who’s starred in HBO’s “True Detective” is gonna be getting quite the rub around Hollywood, and the first out of the gate is Erin Moriarty, who played Woody Harrelson’s daughter on the incredible series.
Variety is reporting that Moriarty (pictured) has now landed the lead role in New Line’s Crawlspace. Phil Claydon will direct with The Conjuring’s Peter Safran producing along with Rick Alvarez.
The storyline follows a relocated family who moves into a new home where the previous inhabitants mysteriously were killed by a murderer living in the walls.
Gary Dauberman penned the script. Dave Neustadter and Walter Hamada will oversee for New Line.
Besides her role in “True Detective,” Moriarty has slowly begun building a resume with strong supporting roles in films like Kings of Summer and Fox’s The Watch. She can be seen next in Universal’s Ouija.
