The #1 Horror Movie on Prime Video is Being Called “Shocking and unhinged”

Today, I have an exciting streaming horror update for Dread Central readers. A film that our very own Sharai Bohannon counts as a favorite of 2024 is dominating the Prime Video charts today. That’s right, Blink Twice is the third-most watched title on the streamer today and the number one horror film.

I’ve got you covered if you’re curious to hear what Sharai thought of the flick. Here is an excerpt from her Top Ten Horror Films of 2024 post:

“We all thought we knew what this was, but we woefully underestimated this project. From the surprise supporting cast that includes the likes of Geena Davis, Alia Shawkat, and Christian Slater to the violent twists and turns, Blink Twice was an unexpected surprise.”

Bohannon isn’t the only fan of this twisted horror thriller. The flick is ‘certified fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes with a critical approval rating of 75%. Plenty of movie lovers have taken to social media to share their appreciation for the flick. The setup for this horror thriller on Prime Video goes as follows:

When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends for a dream vacation on his private island. Wild nights soon blend into sun-soaked days, but when strange things start to happen, Frida must uncover the truth if she hopes to make it out alive.
