‘The Weedhacker Massacre’ Exclusive Trailer: A Meta-Slasher Nightmare
Making a movie is no easy task. Anything and everything can go wrong, no matter how big the budget or how talented your crew is. So why not make a film that capitalizes on those very struggles, while poking fun at the art of making an indie horror movie? At least that’s what co-creators Allen Danziger and Ray Spivey set out to do with their new film, The Weedhacker Massacre! Written and produced by Spivey and directed by Jody Stelzig, this film dives deep into what it takes to get a film out the door.

How many remakes of a bad horror movie can you make? The cast and crew of The Weedhacker Massacre boldly film where gruesome murders occurred 10 years ago and the masked killer was never found. Bad acting, bounced payroll checks, and the killer’s return threaten what is surely to become their worst movie ever.

David Treviño (Rent Free, Storage Locker), Molly Sakonchick (Storage Locker), Bobbie Grace (Fear the Walking Dead), Sean Reyna, and Parrish Randall (Circus of the Dead) star in the film. Danziger (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre) also makes an appearance as Sheriff Danzinshoos.
The Weedhacker Massacre will have its world premiere at the Golden State Film Festival on February 20, 2025, at TCL Chinese Theatre. The film is currently available for sale in all territories.
