‘For Sale By Exorcist’ Trailer: New Found Footage Horror Comedy From Melissa LaMartina
As if buying a house wasn’t scary enough, director Melissa LaMartina is taking it to another level in her feature film debut For Sale By Exorcist. Co-written by Chris LaMartina (WNUF Halloween Special) and Rob Walker, the film follows a documentary team filming a story on a sweet-talking realtor with a knack for selling haunted houses. Think This is Spinal Tap but with ghosts and gorgeous real estate.

“Susan Price is a savvy realtor and certified exorcist who’s spent years flipping haunted houses across the country. From bleeding walls to glowing eyes, every listing is to die for! But as Susan hunts for her own forever home, the ghosts she’s evicted return for revenge. Will Susan settle with these vengeful spirits…or could she lose her life along with her down payment?“

LaMartina previously wrote the hit horror video game Amanda the Adventurer. She’s also the beautiful brains behind the horror host Aurora Gorealis and the lead singer of the cryptid surf rock band, Beach Creeper (Chris LaMartina is the band’s drummer). She’s one horror-loving fiend and she brings that energy in spades to For Sale By Exorcist.
The film boasts a bevy of local Maryland (where it was filmed) talent, including Emily Classen as Susan. John Dimes, Tatiana Ford, Julian Ball, Helenmary Ball, and Penny Nichols also star in the film, with the LaMartinas in small cameo roles as a couple being plagued by a horny succubus.
“For a movie with a groin-grabbing succubus and death-metal necromancers, For Sale By Exorcist has a surprising amount of heart,” said Melissa LaMartina. “At its core, the story is about creating community and finding a place for everyone in it—living or otherwise.”
For Sale By Exorcist comes to digital and VOD on March 11, 2025.
