‘Clown In A Cornfield’ Trailer Reminds You To Never F*** With Frendo

Clown In A Cornfield

Get ready because you’re about to meet your new favorite (or least favorite, depending) clown. Coming soon to theaters is Clown In A Cornfield, based on the Bram Stoker Award-winning novel of the same name by Adam Cesare. Now, director Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil) is bringing that world to life in the upcoming adaptation that promises to be full of blood, corn, and one nasty clown.

Read the full synopsis below:

Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.

Now, watch the new trailer and get ready to meet Frendo!

Cesare wrote the novel, published in 2020, as a YA slasher, but don’t let that YA label fool you. Just as the trailer shows, Clown In A Cornfield is a bloody massacre. Plus, if you just can’t wait for Frendo, you can read the entire trilogy!

Craig directed the film and co-wrote the script with Carter Blanchard.

Katie Douglas, Carson MacCormac, Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand star in the film.

Clown In A Cornfield will have its world premiere at SXSW on March 10, 2025, before coming to theaters on May 9, 2025!
