‘Control Freak’ Trailer: Kelly Marie Tran Stars In New Hulu Horror Movie
Sometimes, when you try to make the world think you’re perfect, it all comes crashing down. At least, that’s the case in Shal Ngo’s new film, Control Freak, coming soon to Hulu. Starring Kelly Marie Tran and Miles Robbins, this new tale of terror is ready to get under your skin.
The synopsis simply reads, “A motivational speaker is tormented by an unrelenting itch on the back of her head.”

Tran and Robbins star in Control Freak alongside Toan Le and Kieu Chinh.
Ngo wrote and directed Control Freak based on his short film “Control” from season two of Hulu’s Bite Size Halloween. The film joins the ranks of other features such as Appendage, Carved, and Mr. Crocket which started as short films for Hulu and were developed into more in-depth features.
WorthenBrooks developed the feature for Hulu Originals with David Brooks, Arbi Pedrossian, and Jenna Cavelle as producers. Shaum S. Sengupta and Miles Alva serve as executive producers and Hatuey Rodriguez is co-producer.
Control Freak comes exclusively to Hulu on March 13, 2025.
