In her feature film debut For Sale By Exorcist, director Melissa LaMartina crafts a new look at the haunted house through the lens of a pluck realtor with a penchant for speaking to the dead. Directed from a script by Chris LaMartina and Rob Walker, this pseudo-documentary is silly, spooky, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Susan Price is a savvy realtor and certified exorcist who’s spent years flipping haunted houses across the country. From bleeding walls to glowing eyes, every listing is to die for! But as Susan hunts for her own forever home, the ghosts she’s evicted return for revenge. Will Susan settle with these vengeful spirits…or could she lose her life along with her down payment?

Emily Classen brings Susan Price to life with a syrupy sweet Southern drawl and an encyclopedia of Southern sayings that’ll have you in stitches. John Dimes, Tatiana Ford, Julian Ball, Helenmary Ball, and Penny Nichols also star in the film. Oh, and Melissa and Chris LaMartina have small cameo appearances as a couple with a succubus problem.
Chris LaMartina is the mind behind films like Halloween Special, Callgirl of Cthulu, and Out There Halloween Mega Tape. Melissa LaMartina often stars in these films, and has also often taken to the stage as horror host Aurora Gorealis. Now, she’s in the director’s chair to show the world just what she can make.
“For a movie with a groin-grabbing succubus and death-metal necromancers, For Sale By Exorcist has a surprising amount of heart,” said Melissa LaMartina in a previous statement. “At its core, the story is about creating community and finding a place for everyone in it—living or otherwise.”
