‘Five Nights At Freddy’s 2’ Trailer: Get Ready To Head Back To Freddy Fazbear’s
They survived five nights at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, but can they do it again? I guess we’ll find out in the highly anticipated Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 as the animatronic creatures breach containment and wreak havoc! At least, that seems to be the case in the first official teaser trailer, released today by Blumhouse and Universal.
The first film follows Mike (Josh Hutcherson), a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, hoping it will help him retain custody of his young sister (Piper Rubio). That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare. Now, it looks like they’re reliving that nightmare in the sequel!

Emma Tammi returns to direct Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, which is based on Scott Cawthon’s hit video game series. Tammi and Cawthon also return to co-write the film alongside Seth Cuddeback. Jason Blum (M3GAN, Black Phone) and Scott Cawthon return as producers for the sequel.
Five Nights at Freddy’s was a box-office phenomenon, earning $80 million on its opening weekend and almost $300 million worldwide. That led the film to become the highest-grossing horror film of 2023.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 comes exclusively to theaters on December 5, 2025, from Blumhouse.
