‘It Feeds’ Exclusive Clip Teases A Horrifying Monster

Filmmaker Chad Archibald is no stranger to the world of indie horror. Between directing films such as The Heretics and Bite and producing titles like Death Valley and Vicious Fun, he and his company Black Fawn Films are creating some of Canada’s best (and nastiest) genre films. Now, after seven years, Archibald has returned to the director’s chair in his latest film, It Feeds, a supernatural nightmare about a clairvoyant therapist, her daughter, and the entity that threatens to shatter their lives.
Read the film’s full synopsis below:
It Feeds tells the harrowing story of a young girl who insists that a malevolent entity is feeding on her. Ashley Greene portrays a clairvoyant therapist who must confront her own personal demons to save the girl before she is consumed completely. Shawn Ashmore takes on the role of the anguished father, desperately struggling to protect his daughter.
In our exclusive clip, Greene’s character Cynthia gets a terrifying glimpse at what’s attached itself to this young girl…
Watch now:
Greene and Ashmore star in It Feeds with Ellie O’Brien, Shayelin Martin, Julian Richings, Juno Rinaldi, and Mark Taylor. Archibald also wrote the script for the film.
In her review of the film out of Panic Fest 2025, Dread Central’s Mary Beth McAndrews wrote,
Overall, It Feeds is a good old-fashioned scary movie that reinvigorates supernatural horror without rewriting the script. It’s familiar but modern, stylish and well-curated, a fascinating world with an eerie vibe that leaks into every frame. I wouldn’t mind a few more stories following the Winstones. They’re certainly better than more Warren worship, especially in 2025.
It Feeds comes to theaters on April 18, 2025, from Samuel Goldwyn Films.
