‘Night Call’ Exclusive Clip: A High-Speed Chase Through The Streets (And Subway) of Brussels

In his debut feature film Night Call, writer and director Michiel Blanchart takes the viewer on a sweeping journey through the city of Brussels during a single night as a young locksmith gets embroiled with dangerous criminals. It’s an ambitious story for a debut feature, but Blanchart executes it gorgeously through a fast-paced story, stellar cast, and gorgeous cinematography.
In the film:
Mady—a young student by day, locksmith by night—receives an emergency call from Claire to open a lock. But the door the young woman wants to open isn’t hers, and the bag she runs away with isn’t hers either. It belongs to Yannick, a vicious mobster who blames Mady and will stop at nothing to retrieve his stolen goods. Mady has only one night to prove his innocence and save his neck. What started out as an ordinary night shift turns into a brutal descent into violence.
In our exclusive clip from the film, Mady is chased through the streets of Brussels. But thanks to some quick thinking and a stolen bike, Mady makes a daring escape.
