Radio 66.6We’re back with another installment of Radio 66.6! This week features the latest news, music, videos and tour dates from the likes of AC/DC, Mastodon, Saliva, Suicidal Tendencies, Converge, Miss May I, Clutch, Heartist, Close Your Eyes, Wovenwar, Vanna and more. Don’t touch that dial.

NEWS
After 40 years in AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is “taking a break from the band due to ill health.” The legendary musician recently suffered a stroke. The band will carry on without him; they’re currently working on a new album.

Vanna will release their fifth full-length, VOID, on June 17th via Pure Noise Records.

I attended the 16th annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival this past weekend. Check out my photos of All That Remains, Bleeding Through, Darkest Hour and Scars of Tomorrow here.

MUSIC
Listen to a new Mastodon song titled “High Road” here. Their forthcoming album, Once More ‘Round the Sun, is due out in June via Warner Bros.

Listen to Wovenwar‘s first single, “All Rise,” here. The band features the remaining members of As I Lay Dying. Their debut album is expected out in the late summer on Metal Blade Records.

Listen to a new Saliva song titled “Lost” here. Their new album, Rise Up, hits stores on April 29th via Rum Bum Records.

VIDEOS
Watch Converge‘s music video for “All We Love We Leave Behind” here. It’s the title track off their awesome latest album, which is out now on Epitaph Records.

Watch Suicidal Tendencies‘ music video for “Slam City” here. The iconic band’s most recent effort, 13, is out now on Suicidal Records.

Watch Miss May I‘s music video for a new song titled ”Refuse to Believe” here. Rise of the Lion drops April 29th via Rise Records.

Watch Heartist‘s music video for “Pressure Point” here. Kind of reminds me of Hellraiser. It’s the first single from their upcoming full-length debut, due out this year on Roadrunner Records.

Watch Close Your Eyes‘ music video for “Kings of John Payne” here. Line in the Sand is available now from Victory Records.

Watch Clutch‘s music video for “The Wolfman Kindly Requests…” here. It’s cool claymation clip. A deluxe edition of Earth Rocker is coming out on June 10 via Weathermaker Music.
