It’s good to see that no matter what happens, humanity always manages to show its sense of humor. And it was no different last week when an electronic San Francisco street sign on Van Ness Avenue started warning of a Godzilla attack.

The digital signs were originally set up to caution drivers of delays due to the May 18th Bay to Breakers Race, but lo and behold, a crafty hacker struck and the sign began reading “Godzilla Attack” and “Turn Back”.
NBC reported that Ali Wunderman initially spotted the sign around 9pm last Wednesday and popped a picture to share the fun. She initially thought it was a PR campaign for Godzilla, which is in theaters now.
Ah, those crazy street sign hackers! You’ve gotta love ’em!
